The AIM CAN Cable / harness lead enables you to add an external microphone to a SmartyCam via a 3.5mm female jack plug enabling you to place this in a more convenient position, shielding it from the wind for better sound quality. this connector also allows the camera to be connected to an on board radio or intercom system (additional cable may be required depending on your radio/intercom). Rev 2.1 versions of the SmartyCam also have the option of having an integral external microphone built in to the cable.

This CAN lead connects between the SmartyCam and the dash / data logger / Solo2 DL / Data Hub, with the external microphone / 3.5mm jack connection being integrated into the lead.
The leads are available with Binder 712 5 pin to 7 pin connectors.
