The Alfano Controller for Bosch LSU 4.9 Lambda Sensor manages the operation of a wideband lambda probe to monitor the air–fuel ratio of your engine. It processes the signal from a Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor and transmits the data to compatible Alfano equipment through a direct bus connection.
Discover the key features of this controller unit:
- Bosch LSU 4.9 Lambda Sensor Control Circuitry: An integrated electronic control unit regulates the operation of the Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband lambda sensor and interprets its oxygen concentration signal so you receive stable and accurate air–fuel ratio data that can be used to assess engine combustion conditions.
- Direct Alfano 7 Bus Connection Harness: The supplied wiring loom connects directly to the black bus port on an Alfano 7 lap timer which allows the lambda controller to transmit sensor data straight into the data logging system so you can monitor mixture readings alongside lap information.
- BOX12 Expansion Module Compatibility: The controller can also connect through the orange port on a BOX12 expansion module when the module is linked to an Alfano 7 which provides additional flexibility for integrating the lambda signal into expanded data acquisition setups.
- 12 Volt Power Supply Operation: The controller operates from a standard 12V electrical supply which ensures stable sensor heating and control so the Bosch LSU 4.9 probe maintains the correct operating temperature and delivers reliable measurement data.
Accurate air–fuel ratio data helps you assess how your engine is running during use. This controller manages the Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor and transfers the information directly into your Alfano data system so mixture readings can be reviewed alongside lap and engine data. Adding this unit to your setup provides a practical way to expand your data logging capability and is a useful addition to a kart data system.
