When used with the correct CP5540 series master cylinder (not included) this professional dual master cylinder hydraulic handbrake operates two circuits at different pressures so it can either be used to operate front and rear brake circuits or as a handbrake and differential release. A spring is fitted to one of the cylinders to delay the increase in pressure to that circuit. This ensures the differential is unlocked prior to the brakes being applied. The spring can be fitted in either cylinder bore.

With a ratio of 7:1, this particular handbrake can be used as a locking or fly-off type. The master cylinder is mounted on ball bearings for a smooth operating action.
