Castrol GTX classic is a mineral based SAE 10W40 engine oil which has ZDDP (Zinc Dithiophosphate) which boosts the oils anti-wear protection even on cold starts. It also includes additives to reduce corrosion and sludge build up to keep the engine internals clean and ensure the oil is reaching the parts it needs to. It is ideally suited to engines from the late 70's to early 90's either naturally aspirated or turbocharged and is compatible with catalytic converters.
