This high performance intake manifold with integral chargecooler is a direct replacement for the OEM intake and has been developed to reduce intake charge temperatures, reduce pressure drop and allow for huge improvement in engine performance. The intake system utilises strong billet aluminium construction with precision CNC machining and TIG welding to withstand the highest boost pressures.
- Direct replacement for OEM intake manifold / chargecooler system. No modifications required.
- Larger chargecooler core with optimised water flow system to reduce intake temperatures and maximise power
- Integral air divider evenly distributes air throughout the cooler core for maximum cooling efficiency
- Integrated Nitrous / methanol injection ports allow for extreme power applications. They can remain blanked if not required
- Includes a KIYLEX thermal rejection spacer to further reduce intake temps
- Allows for easy oil filter removal with manifold in situ
The CSF Radiators Race X chargecooler intake manifold can benefit even stock cars but it really comes into its own on high boost applications where the OEM cooler is not capable of reducing the AIT's enough which reduces power and also the OEM crimped on plastic end tanks are prone to failure at higher boost levels. The CSF intake system is built from high grade billet aluminium and is pressure tested to 120 Psi (8.2 Bar). The chargecooler core is a bar / plate type and has 12 rows of water cooling capacity (OEM has 6) and is designed to greatly reduce AIT's and reduce heat soak for faster AIT recovery. The chargecooler also reduces pressure drop allowing the turbo to operate more efficiently for improved boost.
As this intake system is designed to be used on high boost applications it has the provision for increased fueling requirements. It features a top feed port injection system with injector bosses machined directly in to the intake runners. A Billet fuel rail and block off caps are supplied. The manifold also includes integrated ports on each runner to allow nitrous or methanol injection to be used if required.
