The short throw shifter from Coolerworx provides a 40% reduction in throw between gears. It can be fitted to all standard gearboxes replacing OEM gear shifters in order to achieve quicker and a more ergonomic change of gears. Made from aircraft quality aluminium and teflon bearings to provide a solid feel.

All the metal parts of the shifters are anodised for protection against corrosion keeping the shifter looking like new for longer. The shifter follows the standard H pattern and has lockable gears preventing reverse from accidental engagement. With a long handle it can be easily reached by the hand from the wheel very quickly. The mechanical gear change is the same as the manufacturers but with a 40% reduction the shifts are much shorter for a faster and more precise gear change.
The shifter comes with a black base and with a black gear knob (unless stated otherwise). Coolerworx offer replacement gear knobs in a range of different colours which can be purchased separately.
The Pro shifter version has a taller shifter/handle which sits 370mm above the tunnel when compared to the standard version that sits 300mm above the tunnel. The Pro also has a self-centring spring which will always keeps the shifter tensioned/stiff and in the centre.
