The Air Intake Cover kit from Design Engineering is designed to prevent air tubes from becoming heat sinks for the warm air in your engine bay. It is made from heat treated fiberglass with a reflective coating and reflects heat away from the air tube to allow cooler air to pass into the intake for a denser air/fuel charge. The Air Intake Cover can be installed/removed in seconds without the use of tools by a full-length hook & loop closure system. Supplied in a standard size of 36 inches long by 14 inches wide, it fits most vehicles and can easily be cut to size for smaller applications.
