Onyx black pipe shield from Design Engineering is a flexible, universal heat shield manufactured from a high tech two-ply material which offers heat protection up to 1350° F (732° C). Designed to outperform conventional heat shield the Onyx pipe shield has an outer layer of heat treated glass fibre impregnated with molten aluminium and an inner of an 89% silica material which has a heat resistance 350 degrees higher than glass fibre.
