The Design Engineering Protect-A-Wire protects your spark plug leads from the extreme heat generated by the headers or exhaust manifolds. Constructed from a Fibreglass composite material, they install in seconds and come in a range of colours.

Design Engineering Protect-a-wires prevent damaging heat that can cause misfiring. If the ignition leads are very close to the headers, it is still advisable to wrap the header with exhaust wrap in the problem area in addition to the Protect-A-Wires. Can be used on any hose, wire or fuel line up to 10mm diameter.
Options:
- 2 Cylinder - Contains a 7ft (2.13m) length of sleeving and 6 x high temperature heat shrink tubes
- 8 Cylinder - Contains a 25ft (7.62m) length of sleeving and 25 x high temperature heat shrink tubes
The heat sleeving supplied in the kit can easily be cut to the desired length and the heat shrink tubes provide a neat finish to each end of the sleeve.
