EBC P2DK brake disc and pad kits are designed with high performance / track drivers in mind. The discs are a 2 piece design which reduce vibration and warping whilst also reducing weight compared to a traditional 1 piece cast disc. This reduces un-sprung mass improving handling.

The discs included in the EBC P2DK kits are O/E size so are designed to fit with standard calipers without modification. They are a 2 piece design comprising of a light weight alloy centre mounting bell and an outer friction ring made from high carbon alloy reduce the risk of cracking at high temperatures and also provide a longer disc life. The 2 disc parts are held together using EBC's patented SD drive bobbins. This system allows the outer ring to float independently from the mounting bell, reducing stresses through heat expansion. This hugely reduces the risk of warping the disc even in full race conditions. The SD drive bobbin system features an anti-rattle clip for totally silent operation.
A further benefit of a 2 piece disc system is cost of replacement when the discs become worn. With the EBC P2DK kit you only need to replace the outer ring, saving you money in the long run.
The RP-1 pads included in this kit are a full race compound developed to provide excellent driver feel with repeatable braking performance lap after lap. They offer excellent fade resistance even at extreme temperatures and are kind to discs. All RP-1 pads are thermally bedded thus eliminating the need to bed them in on track.
A revolutionary Nucap NRS pad retention system prevents the pad material from separating from the back plate which is a great safety feature. All of the RP-1 pads feature a stainless steel back plate which reduces heat transfer to the caliper. This reduces the brake fluid temperature and can help keep a better pedal feel throughout a race
EBC RP-1 brake pads are designed for competition / off-road use, and as such are not approved for use on the road.
