Supporting up to a huge 1800HP, the Prodigy power module makes use of a single pump, eliminating the potential reliability issues that can face a multi-pump configuration which can be costly and time consuming to overcome.
The pump itself is compatible with petrol, diesel, methanol and ethanol to provide a solution for all types of fuel setup. A carbon 9-vane construction complete with a pressure balance rotor ensures a high level of reliability which is paired with a lightweight brushless DC motor to significantly reduce current draw while maximising efficiency. Being lightweight, the low mass rotor is capable of reacting to changes in speed and flow at high speed, thus allowing the pump to be very adaptable for varying situations. Being a brushless motor, there are no motor brushes that can wear out or corrode, while a wet motor design with no dynamic shaft seals means that reliability is further increased.
The electronic features of this 12 to 16 volt in-tank power module includes an internal speed controller which allows for variable flow operation and eliminates the need for add-on pump controllers or voltage regulators.
