These uprated clutch covers from Helix are designed as a direct replacement for the OEM cover. They are constructed using stronger springs which increases the clamping force on the friction plate giving the clutch an increased torque capacity making them the ideal choice for tuned engines which develop more power and torque.

To obtain the best performance from the Helix uprated clutch cover they should be used with a suitable uprated organic or cerametallic (paddle) clutch friction plate, both of which are available from Helix separately. Organic plates are similar to an OEM plate and as such give a similar driving experience making them ideal for road cars. Cerametallic (paddle) clutch plates have a more aggressive bite and as such are more suited to track day or competition use. Cerametallic plates are capable of handling higher torque outputs than organic plates so are sometimes used in road cars which are highly tuned.
