These latest Maxogen universal air filters from ITG are constructed using a pleated cotton gauze filtration element making them more suited to high power and turbocharged applications where large amounts of airflow are required. To maximise the filters efficiency ITG have developed a foam oversock which is designed to fit the filter exactly and increases the filtration capacity and extends filter cleaning intervals without sacrificing airflow. The foam filter socks are available to purchase separately here.

The ITG Maxogen pleated cotton air filters are available with two different neck types:
- Spun aluminium neck - Designed to fit inside OEM rubber intake hoses or silicone hose. The aluminium baseplate features an integral air horn which helps channel the incoming air through the inlet for improved airflow.
- Rubber neck - The flexible rubber neck is designed to fit over a rigid intake pipe and requires securing with a hose clip.
Both neck types are available in a range of diameters to suit most popular applications.
