The MSD 6AL-2 ignition control box allows you to maximise the performance of a distributor based ignition system. It is capable of delivering over 530 volts to the coil with up to 135mJ of spark energy for maximum power, cleaner emissions and smoother running. The 6AL-2 provides multiple sparks for 20 degrees on each firing stroke for maximum combustion efficiency.

As well as improving all round engine performance and efficiency the 6AL-2 also allows you protect your engine from over revving with the in-built 2 step rev limiter. As well as limiting maximum rpm you can also set a 2nd lower rpm limit which can be triggered by a switch making it perfect for launch control. The Rpm limits can easily be set via the rotary dials on the unit.
