Mintex M1166 brake pads are designed to offer a good braking effort from cold and give a progressive increase in friction up to 500 degrees C. The optimum working temperature of 200-400 degrees C lends itself well to long distance events where braking systems may not reach extremely high temperatures. Positive pressure modulation and stable braking performance makes the M1166 a versatile pad compound suitable for saloon car racers, single seaters, sports cars and rally cars.
Mintex M1166 brake pads are designed for competition / off-road use, and as such are not approved for use on the road.
