Remote filter heads are designed to relocate the engine oil filter due to lack of space in the original position. This makes them useful for engine conversions or other modifications which limit space.
These Mocal remote filter heads allow an 80mm or 98 mm diameter oil filter with a 3/4" UNF thread to be fitted. 2 options are available -
- Option 1 - 1/2" BSP inlet and outlet ports
- Option 2 - M22 x 1.5 inlet and outlet ports
The oil flow through the filter heads if left to right and the housing features a boss which can be drilled and tapped as a take off for an oil temperature or pressure gauge.
