The RST 2987 S1 Leather Motorcycle Suit is made out of tough leather which includes 4 way woven stretch panels located around the suit with motion panels included. The inner lining is made from mesh. The cuffs on this suit is made from neoprene. The zips used on this suit are MAX / SAB and the thread is made from a bonded nylon. The S1 suit comes with panel in panel perforated leather ventilation. This suit is protected with its double leather in impact zones. This suit also includes shoulder cups and knee sliders.

This suit is CE Rated: AAA which is the highest level, demanding four seconds of abrasion resistance with the machine spinning at 707.4rpm (the equivalent of 120km/h) in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees), two seconds at 442.1rpm (about 75km/h) in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and one second at 265rpm (around 45km/h) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs). This suit comes with a back protector pocket (protector not included). The shoulder, elbow and knee armour are all rated CE Level 1 which means the maximum transmitted force must be below 18 kN, and no single value shall exceed 24 kN. The hip armour is rated to CE Level 2 which means the maximum transmitted force must be below 9 kN, and no single value shall exceed 12 kN.
