The POR15 Rust Preventive Paint can be applied over rusty or seasoned metal surfaces to stop rust from reoccurring by preventing any exposure to moisture. For better, longer lasting results we recommend the surface is firstly cleaned with POR15 cleaner degreaser then treated with POR15 metal prep.
Rust Preventive Paint is totally resistant to petrol, road salt and most acids and can be applied by brush or by spraying.
POR15 Rust preventive paint is UV light sensitive so a top coat must be applied if exposed to prolonged periods of sunlight.
Available in various sizes - 473ml tin (approx 4.5 sq.m coverage) and 946ml tin (approx 9 sq.m coverage). Pack of 6 x 113ml tins (approx 6.6sq.m coverage).
