Replacement seal kits for 'seal in bore' type racing caliper applications which have no dirt seals. These seals are a very high temperature version so are an ideal replacement for applications where brake temperatures are higher than usual.
Brake calipers are a safety critical item and AP Racing recommend that calipers are reconditioned and piston seals inspected regularly to maintain optimum performance. Where calipers have been subjected to high temperatures or have been used in adverse conditions such as rallying or off-road, the calipers should be reconditioned and seals replaced more frequently to ensure safety and performance levels are maintained.
