These aircraft quality silver plated high carbon steel Imperial Hi Temp Aerospace Locknuts are small, lightweight, self locking, extremely strong and are used where space is at a premium. The upper threaded portion is deformed to produce the self locking action. These nuts can withstand 425°C making them ideal for turbos, exhaust manifolds etc.
