This plumbed in fire extinguisher kit from FEV is electrically operated and has a 2.25kg capacity which discharges through 6 atomising nozzles (4 engine bay and 2 cockpit), which have been developed to produce a fine mist for larger surface area coverage and faster fire out times. The extinguisher uses Novec 1230 gas as the extinguishant which is incredibly effective at putting out vehicle fires and leaves no mess when discharged.

The Novec 1230 gas extinguishant used in this fire extinguisher has been proven to quickly and efficiently extinguish fires including fuel, oil, diesel and other highly flammable sources. Because the extinguishant contains no water it will not effect vehicle electrics or cause any other damage such as corrosion or tarnishing of components. It is also non-toxic so is safe for the vehicle occupants.
The FEV N-TEC 2.25kg electrical fire extinguisher kit includes: Alloy bottle pre-filled with N-TEC gas extinguishant, bracket and T-bolt straps, 2 x cockpit nozzles, 4 x engine bay nozzles, 10mm tubing, connectors, tube clips, 2 x 'E' stickers, control box and wiring loom, internal fire button, external fire button, instructions.
