Design Engineering Heat Screen Gold Matting

This Design Engineering Heat Screen Gold matting is designed to keep your components cool in the most demanding environments. It is made from a high temperature polyimide laminated material and is bonded to a robust 20oz heat treated glass fiber base material. The heat screen is able to deflect heat of up to 420 degrees C, keeping your components as cool as possible.

• Flux test shows a 36% reduction of temperature
• Can be attached using screws, rivets or with a hi-temperature adhesive
• The material is .031" thick and will deflect heat up to 420 degrees C

Heat Screen Gold is ideal for keeping engine components cool, such as air intakes. It is also useful for keeping interiors cool and protected. By attaching the heat screen to your gear box tunnel or even to your engine firewall, it will deflect the heat away from the cockpit and will keep the interior temperatures down.
