The Design Engineering floor and tunnel shield is a revolutionary material that adds a new dimension to control heat with minimal clearance needed and is only 3/16” thick!. It is constructed from an embossed aluminium face that is bonded to a composite fibreglass insulation. It is designed to withstand direct temperatures of up to 950 Degrees C.

- Ideal for fire walls, transmission tunnels, floor boards and fuel cells
- A very lightweight thermal protection which also acts as a guard against track and road debris
- Can be shaped and trimmed to suit different applications
Its tough construction makes it ideal for under vehicle use, it is capable of insulating and blocking out up to 50% of unwanted road noise. The shield is made from embossed 10mm aluminium face bonded to 1/8" composite glass-fibre core and backed with a high temperature super strong pressure sensitive backing.
