Design Engineering Heat Shroud is constructed from fibreglass fabric that is bonded to an aluminium material with the convenience of Velcro type closure. The Heat Shroud is easily installed on wires or hoses that can not be easily removed thanks to its flat design that allows it to be wrapped around (offering a versatility of fitting diameters depending how tightly it's wrapped). It can withstand direct heat up to 250 Degrees C and reflect radiant heat over 1000 Degrees C.

Design engineering heat shrouds are available in a range of sizes, some are universal and fit a range of diameters. There are also some which are sized specifically for AN hose sizes and these are available for -12 AN, -16 AN or -20 AN hose sizes.
