SW Motorsports track day bolt in half roll cages are designed for DIY fitting however some drilling is required and, on some applications, welding of foot plates may be required. The cages are manufactured from the same 45mm diameter x 2.5mm thick CDS tubing as their MUK approved Motorsport cages so they are designed to offer protection, not just to look good. They typically bolt to 4 points in the rear of the vehicle and in most cases include a cross brace in the rear stays and some applications have harness bars (see the cage image for the typical cage layout).
