Made from a high carbon chromoly steel, this flywheel is both strong and lightweight. Engineered to have an increased thermal capacity, this flywheel is an ideal choice for high performance engine applications.
When compared to an OEM Duel Mass Flywheel, the Xtreme Clutch Chromoly flywheel is both lighter and more durable (having less wear components to go wrong). Additionally, a lighter weight results in an increased throttle response and a faster revving engine whilst retaining enough weight to maintain daily drivability (for example, hill starts/stop-start traffic/town driving).
Additionally fitting this lightweight flywheel can result in easier gear-shifts (example, revs dropping quicker for upshifts and raising quicker on a throttle blip for downshifts).
