PIAA gen 2 LED bulbs are precision engineered to not only produce the best possible light output but also increase the life and reliability. They are designed to withstand vibration and are also water / dust resistant to IP66.
As LED bulbs get hot the light output can be drastically effected. For this reason PIAA LED bulbs feature a computer designed aluminium heatsink and a built in high power cooling fan to prevent the LED chip from overheating. This allows the bulbs to retain 93% of their initial light output where other types of LED bulb can be as little as 65% light output when hot.
