K&Ns Orion Universal Air Intake System is a high quality enclosed airbox designed to be used in high-flow cold-air intake systems. It's universal design is suitable for a huge range of vehicles.

K&N's latest airbox design, the Orion is a compact, high-flow design. Despite measuring just 157mm x 223mm, the airbox houses a large conical filter which ensures flow-rates good enough for engines making over 500BHP.
Designed for universal mounting, the cold-air intake design allows the airbox to be mounted almost anywhere in the engine bay without loss of effectiveness. Provided the 4" intake tract is drawing cold air in, and the 3" outlet tract has a reasonably straight run to the inlet on the engine side, the system will be providing a good flow of cold air to the engine.
Enclosed airbox designs like this aren't as loud as open cone designs, but you have total control over where the air going into your engine is coming from. Cold air is denser and contains more oxygen which can lead to increased power.
While not supplied with clamps or a cold air feed, you can easily mount this wherever you need it in the engine bay and still route a good supply of cold air to it. This gives you enormous flexibility, particularly when dealing with heavily modified engines where the original airbox is not still in in place.
