Jiffy-tite’s unique, high-flow valve technology in the plug and socket assembly automatically interrupts the flow of fluid when disconnected to protect against leaks or potential hot oil spills. Designed to swivel through 360 degrees and proven to have a 100% leak proof seal, even at 200 psi.
Using a flurocarbon (FKM) seal making these fittings suitable for use with Fuel, Oil, Water, Transmission Fluid, E85 (Ethanol Fuel Blend) and Diesel.
3 different series of valve are available (see "Jiffy-tite Connector Flow Data" tab for specific flow rates) -
- JT2 (2000) Series - Small sized fittings for low flow applications.
- JT3 (3000) Series - Medium sized fittings for moderate flow applications.
- JT5 (5000) Series - Large sized fittings for high flow applications.
All of the series are supplied as separate plugs (male) and sockets (female) with a wide range of attachments including male or female threaded, push on hose or Aeroquip type hose which is suitable for use with the following hose types: Goodridge 200 / 210 series, Aeroquip AQP / Startlite, APS SL200 / SL210 series.
