The Oxford Bright Band Plus has been constructed using 3M Scotlite and 4 bright LEDS which work on the push of a button. Scotchlite is a special refractive material products by the 3M company. Thanks to its flexible structure which has been created using glass micro-beads combined with a reflective layer on the back part of the stripe, the sheeting gloss brightly when there is a small angle between the observer's eyes and a light source directed towards the material, but appears non-reflective when viewed from other directions. This is extremely useful to increase the visibility of the clothing in night time riding conditions.
