ProComp E1 compound brake pads from PBS brakes have been developed to provide good modulation with a low wear rate making them an ideal choice for endurance racing. They have a working temperature range of 200-850°C with consistent friction levels within that range for predictable braking effort lap after lap.
- Lowest wear rate of all the ProComp compounds
- Friction level (0.38 to 0.43mu) for powerful and predictable braking performance
- Requires light bedding in only
- Ideal for endurance racing
PBS ProComp E1 brake pads have been developed by racers for racers and have been successfully used in many MSA and European championships. The pad material is bonded to the back plate using NUCAP NRS. This system utilises hundreds of steel hooks which creates a permanent mechanical bond to the friction material eliminating the risk of pad separation. During manufacture the pads are subjected to a heat curing process which removes unwanted gasses. This process eliminates the necessity for a lengthy bedding in time.
Performance Brake Solutions (PBS) ProComp E1 brake pads are designed for competition / off road use, and as such are not approved for use on the road.
