Redstuff is an advanced aramid-fibre based compound. It's long-lasting, easy on brake discs, and produces very little dust and noise. The dust that is produced does not have metal particles in which makes it much less damaging to wheels and paintwork. The compound itself offers a mix of good-as-OE cold stopping and excellent fade resistance. As well as offering low brake disc wear it's also long-lasting itself. It's also a very quiet compound.
This is a truly impressive fast road pad for repeated heavy braking. Redstuff pads feature EBC Brake-In surface coating which conditions disc surface and accelerates pad bed-in.
EBCs BSD Brake Discs use a blade-shaped slot design. The slots perform two functions. They firstly allow hot gas to escape from the gap between the disc and pad surface. They also sweep the surface of the pad clean, clearing away debris and ensuring regular and even pad wear.
The combination of the two should give you an increase of up to 30% in braking performance, together with low-noise and low-dust.
