Racelogic VBOX Pit Lane Timer

The Racelogic VBOX Pit Lane Timer is a 25Hz GPS data logger and pit lane timer display in one. It provides instant driver feedback, helping you to optimise your time in the pit box and to avoid pit stop penalties - taking the guesswork out of the crucial pit stop period of an endurance race.

VBOX Pit Lane Timer recognising the preset pit lane entry point as it is crossed, displays the velocity until the car comes to a stop and then counts down to zero to indicate when it is time to get out again. In addition, the high brightness colour LEDs change colour and intensity, giving the driver an indication as to whether the pitlane exit will be reached too early, too late, or exactly right.

Display Modes - VBOX Pit Lane Timer has different display modes depending where you are on the track.

• Stint Time:  When you are out on the track, the Pit Lane Timer will show your time from pit stop to pit stop
• Live Speed:  When you enter the pit lane, the Pit Lane Timer will show your live speed value.
• Countdown Time:  When you come to a stop in your pit box, the Pit Lane Timer then displays a countdown to when you should leave your pit box.

LED Modes: After the counter has reached 0.00 and the vehicle moves out of the pit box, the LED's will either be OFF (maintain speed, +0.5s to +1.5s), GREEN (speed up, over +1.5s) or RED (slow down, under 0.5s). When the LEDs are RED, the pit lane timer will also sound a continuous beep.

Information such as speed, time, and position can be stored on an SD card for the user to examine later using the Circuit Tools free analysis software.
