Utilising a twin plate design this high-quality race clutch kit is made to handle the rigorous demands of high horsepower tuned performance engines. Featuring twin cerametallic plates this kit provides double the torque capacity at half the pedal pressure.
Featuring SFI approved high quality sprung center twin cerametallic drive plates, the cerametallic material is designed to resist the extreme temperatures associated with high performance driving styles. The high friction material is made for quick engagement and disengagement making this kit ideal for high performance track car applications. Being a cerametaliic clutch the engagement and driving action are harsher than comparable organic kits making this kit less suited to daily driving (for example, hill starts/stop-start traffic/town driving).
Additionally, this kit includes a lightweight alloy clutch cover, chromoly single mass flywheel, cerametallic drive plate and an OE specification release bearing*. The chromoly single mass flywheel is both strong and lightweight and when compared to an OEM dual mass flywheel, the chromoly flywheel is both lighter and more durable (having less wear components to go wrong). Making an ideal match for this Twin Plate cerametallic clutch kit in high performance applications.
