K&N Typhoon induction kits have been designed to provide maximum airflow and horsepower and feature a pleated filter top plate that increases airflow directly into the induction system. This offers a crisper throttle response and superior performance over the 57 and 63 series induction kits for improved acceleration and greater driving enjoyment. All this with one of the highest levels of filtration on the market, giving the ultimate protection for the engine.
The kits come complete with precision machined adaptors and mandrel formed aluminium induction pipes, powder-coated in various colours or highly polished dependent on your kit, for show class engine bays. The open type of filtration system gives the engine a crisp induction roar, so not only does the kit look good, but it also sounds superb.
These kits feature a steel heat shield to help keep the heat of your engine away from your filter. This helps reduce the temperature of the air at the point of induction, which, in turn, provides increased performance benefits.
K&N Typhoon induction kits are supplied pre-oiled and ready to use and can be used over and over again. Simply clean and re-oil the filter with the K&N service kits (available to purchase separately) for long-lasting performance gains and up to 100,000 miles between air filter cleanings. Typically, K&N filters are red cotton, but K&N's own black oils can be purchased if a black filter suits your bay better. Not having to buy another air filter means the K&N filter is also environmentally friendly!
