The Merlin Cerro D3O Waterproof Explorer Motorcycle Gloves are made with goat leather panels and goat leather palm side. Goat leather is tougher than the standard leather that is found on most motorcycle gloves and is also light-weight and water resistant. Along with the goat leather they are made with stretch nylon panels with grip overlayed palm panels. These gloves are from a Hipora waterproof and breathable membrane. Hipora is a three-layer micro-porous silicone coated waterproof and breathable membrane used in boots and gloves.
These gloves come with many added features. The tips of the index finger and the thumb come with digital touch tips which allow for the wearer to be able to use their smart phone even with the gloves on to avoid the need to remove the gloves. They also come with articulated finger joints and accordion active stretch panels to allows for easy finger movement. These gloves feature a mid length cuff with a single Velcro cuff/wrist restraint system.
These gloves come with a high density padded knuckle protection and are certified to CE EN13594 KP Level 1.
