The Alpinestars SP-2 V3 Motorcycle Gloves are constructed from a supple and highly durable full-grain Leather Chassis which is able to provide core abrasion resistance and durability for the rider. Alpinestars have also included their patented finger-bridge prevents excessive finger roll and separation during impacts, and an extensive Knuckle gusset opening on the Thumb which allows flex and freedom of movement for the rider.
For protection of the hand, palm and finger sidewalls are reinforced with supple goat's leather for feel and performance fit. The main shell has been reinforced by Leather which covers the first finger, second finger and cuff, and there re synthetic Suede reinforcements on the Palm and landing zones for maximum abrasion resistance.
Further protection comes from an ergonomic, advanced compound and MotoGP derived TPU slider on the Palm which is backed with EVA foam for impact performance. There is also a robust yet flexible compound Knuckle guard which provides exceptional impact and abrasion protection, and a strategically positioned, impact absorbing EVA foam for additional impact performance.
Additional features include a pre-curved finger construction which reduces fatigue in the hand for the rider, and a touchscreen compatible fingertip area on the index and thumb so that Smartphones and GPS systems can be used quickly and easily.
