The Alpinestars Nucleon KR-3 CE Level 2 Motorcycle Back Protector has a lattice structured back shell plate construction which has been made from high performance Polymeric material which has been blended for optimum flexibility and weight saving. The shell structure has been designed to absorb high impacts and allow maximum breathability and air flow, keeping the rider cool whilst using the protector. The protector features a horizontal flex groove which allows for an adaptive fit for all riding positions.
The rider can have peace of mind when using this protector, as it is CE certified to level 2 EN1621_2:2014 standard thanks to the high quality protection features used. The protector has a soft Viscoelastic PU foam compound specially developed for Nucleon protection. There is a convex design on the central hard shell which provides the highest protection possible for the spine, and adjustable rib protectors made from a high performance polymeric material for additional side protection. There is also shoulder blade protective padding extensions to protect the acromion bones.
Additional features include a waist adjustment for customised fit and slim vented kidney belt for added position stability and security. There are adjustable shoulder straps which are detachable which allows the protector to be used in Alpinestars garments with the 'Snap-Fit' system.
This protector is compatible with the Nucleon KR-C protector and Nucleon KR-TB protector.
