The RST 3005 Tour 1 Leather Motorcycle Jeans are made form a tough leather outer material which includes the 4 way woven stretch panels with motion panels. These jeans come with a comfortable mesh inner lining with the exterior also having panel in panel perforated leather ventilation. The zips that are used all around these jeans are made using MAX/SAB zips. The Tour 1's are held together using a bonded nylon thread and also have double leather reinforcement in the key impact areas. These jeans also include 1 outer pocket to help hold smaller items, they also have an elasticated waistband to help keep the wearer comfortable.
These jeans are rated to CE: AAA which means the protection on offer is suited to touring gear. It specifies two seconds of abrasion resistance in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) at 412.6rpm (about 70km/h), one second at 265.3rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and 0.5 seconds at 147.4rpm (the equivalent of around 25kmh) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs). The hip armour is CE Level 2 which means the maximum transmitted force must be below 9 kN, and no single value shall exceed 12 kN. The knee armour is CE Level 1 which means the maximum transmitted force must be below 18 kN, and no single value shall exceed 24 kN.
